What is gynecomastia?
Gynecomastia is a condition where a man’s breasts develop to have large nipples or resemble the overall shape of a woman’s breasts. This is due to the accumulation of not only fat but also fibrous and adipose tissue, causing the breasts to bulge and take on a more feminine appearance.

Gynecomastia diagnosis by stage
Step 1
The mammary tissue is not large and develops only around the nipple or areola.
Step 2-a
There is no sagging skin, but the breast tissue protrudes due to the overall development of mammary gland tissue.
Step 2-b
Mammary gland tissue develops extensively, causing the breasts to protrude and resulting in sagging skin.
Step 3
The mammary gland tissue is highly developed, causing the breasts to protrude significantly. There is noticeable sagging, with the angles of the nipple and areola pointing downward.
If a detailed diagnosis determines that you have Simon Grade 2A or higher true gynecomastia, health insurance and actual cost insurance benefits may apply. A detailed confirmation through an ultrasound examination is required to assess the condition accurately.

Gynecomastia surgery method
A small incision is made along the areola line. A tumescent anesthetic solution is injected into the chest area.
Liposuction is performed on the breast area, excluding the area around the areola, to flatten the overall breast.
The mammary gland tissue is completely removed by clearly separating the fascia under the breast to prevent wrinkles beneath the breast.
The incisions are sutured to ensure no visible scars remain. A follow-up care system aids in recovery and helps achieve a manly chest appearance.
