How to treat hyperhidrosis
botox therapy
Prevents sweat secretion by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter in sweat glands.
radiofrequency cautery
Utilizes high-frequency electrocautery to destroy apocrine sweat glands in the armpit area using insulated needles.

Types and causes of hyperhidrosis
Primary hyperhidrosis (primary)
– 25-50% of cases have a genetic component
– Triggered by heat or emotional stimulation
– Sweating occurs symmetrically on both sides of the body
Secondary hyperhidrosis (secondary)
– Often develops after adulthood
– Sweating appears even during sleep
– Mostly involves generalized hyperhidrosis
If you have hyperhidrosis, it is often accompanied by bromhidrosis (unpleasant body odor). Therefore, it is crucial to accurately diagnose and test the patient’s condition to provide appropriate treatment for each type.
